Kaylee (she/her) is a second year Master’s student in Political Science at McGill University with a development studies specialization. Originally from Toronto/Tkaronto, Kaylee completed her B.A.H. at Queen’s University in Global Development and Political Studies.
Kaylee completed her B.A.H. at Queen’s University in Global Development and Political Studies. She works in Government Relations and previously served on the volunteer board of the Canadian-Kenyan charity, Canada Mathare Education Trust (CMETrust).
Kaylee’s research is on development and Canadian social policy. Through the lens of international development, she investigates how the Canadian government regards ‘development’ in a domestic context. What does it mean to 'develop' Canada through social policy? Kaylee is the recipient of the SSHRC Canada Graduate Scholarship-Master’s, the McCall MacBain Finalist Award, and the McGill Grad Excellence Award.
