Imogen (she/her) is a second year masters student in political science at McGill University with an international relations concentration. Her research focuses on theorising types of ‘friendship’ in international politics, looking at how the term can be taken seriously as a form of positive relationality in multi-level state interaction.
She completed her BA International Relations from the School of Oriental and African studies (SOAS) in the UK, having written a dissertation titled ‘The Paradox of Introverted ‘Global Britain’: British Self-identity and the Conservative Government’s Approach to Africa Since 2010’
Imogen presented her research at the CIPSS 2023 Graduate Student Conference and is currently the CIPSS Communications Coordinator.
