Ethan is an M.A. student in the Department of Political Science at McGill University. His research concerns the distortion of information environments within democracies and the provocation of internal division and conflict by foreign adversaries. Ethan hopes to better understand the ways in which actors may manipulate the emotions of citizens to undermine democratic norms and institutions.

Ethan completed his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at the University of Ottawa and wrote his Honours Thesis on the rise of sharp power as an effective tool of foreign policy. He has interned at the House of Commons, and has most recently worked for the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
