Hana Allal is a first-year MA student in Political Science with a Development Studies Option and a concentration in International Relations.

She holds a BA with honours in International Studies and a minor in economics from Bishop’s University. During her undergraduate years, she presented her research on conflict and gender at the Québec Undergraduate Security Conference.

Overall, Hana has a keen interest in matters concerning peace and security, particularly in relation to the impact of climate change on security within the Sahel region.
