David is a PhD student in Comparative Politics at McGill University. His primary research interests are related to Central, Eastern European, and Eurasian political development, democratic backsliding and its relationship with misinformation. He is also interested in deep learning natural language processing as a big data content analysis method.

David also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Quebec in Montreal, where his dissertation was awarded a mention of excellence.

Research interest: Democratic development in Central-Eastern Europe and Eurasia, misinformation and communication strategies, Machine learning and big data content analysis.
