Yolaine Frossard de Saugy is a PhD candidate in international relations and comparative politics at the department of Political Science, McGill University. She works with Professor Fernando Nuñez-Mietz on her PhD project, which bridges global health diplomacy and international norms studies and examines the dynamics of international HIV/AIDS policies with a specific focus on key populations (men having sex with men, sex workers, transgender people, people who inject drugs and prisoners). She holds an MSc in African Politics from SOAS, University of London, and an MA in International History from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. Her main research interests include global health governance, Southern African politics, and queer politics, and she favors qualitative research methods. She is fluent in French and English.
