I am a Ph.D. student in International Relations at McGill University. My primary research interests include multilateral diplomacy, terrorism, and states of exception. Recently, I’ve been using automated content analysis methods to study changing perceptions of nuclear security issues in floor speeches to the UN General Assembly. I’m also a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course “International Security: Strategies of War and Peace.”

Before moving to Montréal, I completed a Master’s degree and worked as a researcher at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna. I also spent some time training in Natural Language Processing methods at the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence. I speak German and Spanish and I’m originally from Chicago.
