Jibril Hussein is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is a former Policy and Regional Advisor to various Ministers in the Government of Canada.

He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy at the Max Bell School where he serves as the VP Social and Events for the Public Policy Association of Graduate Students (PPAGS). Prior to joining Max Bell, he obtained his B.Sc in Biochemistry from the University of Winnipeg. He is particularly passionate about migrant rights, humanitarian aid, and international development.

With his involvement with the Centre for International Peace and Security, Jibril looks forward to developing robust public policy solutions that address global conflict.
