CIPSS members are core members of The Global Research Network on Peaceful Change – GRENPEC – which focuses on the study of the causes, sources, mechanisms, and consequences of peaceful change at the international, regional, and domestic levels.

The Network is actively engaged in research and publications on challenges to the rules-based international order; the potential for a new phase of systemic conflict involving rising China and established powers, such as the US; the prospects for regional peace and stability in Asia; and non-traditional security challenges such as Covid-19 and climate change.
