Patience est doctorant en science politique à l’Université de Montréal. Il est affilié au CEPSI depuis Septembre 2020. Ses recherches portent sur les médias onusiens et leurs influences sur l’alimentation ou l’accalmie des conflits postélectoraux en Afrique. Son projet de thèse porte sur l’élection présidentielle de 2010 en Côte d’Ivoire et celle de 2018 en République démocratique du Congo, sous la direction de Simon Thibault et Frédérick Bastien. 

Patience détient une licence en droit économique et social de l’Université de Kinshasa (R.D. Congo), un Bachelor en études internationales, spécialisation « International Development and Humanitarian Affairs » de l’Université du Nord Texas à Denton (USA).

Patience is a PhD student in political science at the University of Montreal. He joined the CIPSS in August 2020. His research focuses on the UN media and their influences on the feeding or the cooling-off of post-electoral conflicts in Africa. His thesis project focuses on the 2010 presidential election in Ivory Coast and the 2018 presidential election in the Democratic Republic of Congo, under the supervision of Simon Thibault and Frédérick Bastien. 

Patience holds a bachelor’s degree in economic and social law from the University of Kinshasa (R.D. Congo), a bachelor’s degree in international studies, with a specialization in international development and humanitarian affairs from the University of North Texas at Denton (USA).
