Frédéric Dallaire est étudiant au doctorat en histoire à l’Université de Montréal. Il est affilié au CEPSI depuis septembre 2020 et à l’UMR SIRICE (Sorbonne Identités, relations internationales et civilisations de l’Europe) depuis septembre 2019. Ses recherches en histoire portent sur les relations internationales au début du XXe siècle, plus spécifiquement sur la période de la Première Guerre mondiale et de l’entre-deux-guerres. Son projet de thèse s’intitule « L’Europe médiane, laboratoire d’une nouvelle politique territoriale : Diffusion et application des idéaux américains dans le processus de définition des frontières des États successeurs après la Première Guerre mondiale », sous la codirection de Carl Bouchard (Université de Montréal) et Alya Aglan (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne).
Frédéric détient un Master en histoire des relations internationales (spécialisation Guerre, politique et société) de l’Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Ses recherches de Master portaient sur les relations entre les soldats canadiens-français et la population française durant la Première Guerre mondiale. Il détient également un baccalauréat en science politique de l’Université Laval (profil international), formation durant laquelle il a réalisé une année d’étude à l’Universitat Pompeu Fabra à Barcelone.

Frédéric Dallaire is a PhD student in history at Université de Montréal. He has been affiliated to the CEPSI since September 2020 and to the UMR SIRICE (Sorbonne Identities, international relations and civilizations of Europe) since September 2019. His research in history focuses on international relations at the beginning of the 20th century, more specifically on the the First World War and interwar period. His thesis project is entitled « Middle Europe, laboratory of a new territorial policy: Dissemination and application of the American principles in the defining process for the successor state’s borders after the First World War », codirected by Carl Bouchard (Université de Montréal) and Alya Aglan (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne).
Frédéric holds a Master’s degree in History of International Relations (War, Politics and Society special cursus) from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His Master’s research focused on the relationship between French-Canadian soldiers and the French population during the First World War. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in political science from the Université Laval (international profil), a formation during which he completed a year of study at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
