My thesis work attempts to characterize the relations forged between the English-speaking minorities of Quebec and France from the end of the First World War to the end of the Cold War. Based on the study of individual trajectories as well as networks of influence, I intend on qualifying the French-speaking historiography by bringing to light the diplomatic and para-diplomatic ties that unite France and English-speaking Quebec.

Alumnus of the École normale supérieure (Paris) and « agrégé » in hisatory, I started my Master’s thesis while being a ENS-DLLF fellow in McGill University and I defended it at the École nationale des Chartes. I graduated from the université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (B. A. in history, B. Sc in geography).
