    The Centre d’études sur la paix et la sécurité international at Université de Montréal is pleased to announce that it is now accepting abstracts for papers to be presented at the Annual Graduate Student Conference taking place March 30-31, 2023. This call is open to graduate students from various disciplines working on international relations, conflict and security studies, and political violence. This conference provides an opportunity for students to present their current research, receive feedback from professors, sharpen their oral presentation skills, and meet other young researchers.

  • December 12, 2022 : deadline for abstract submission

    January 2023 : authors are notified of acceptance or rejection

    March 13, 2023 : deadline for papers submission

  • You can submit single papers or panels. The organizing commitee will be in charge of completing the panel as necessary. Please send your submissions to cepsi2023@gmail.com

    Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by CEPSI/CIPSS-CÉPI members using a scoring system based on theoretical contribution, originality, analysis and relevance of the contribution.

    If your abstract is accepted, you will be notified in January with an invitation to submit your paper (4500-10000 words) by March 13, 2023. The presentation lasts 10 to 15 minutes. Papers can be submitted and presented in French or English.
