Anaïs Bertrand-Remay est candidate au doctorat en histoire à l’Université de Montréal. Elle a obtenu un baccalauréat et une maitrise en histoire à l’Université Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis. Ses recherches portent sur les spoliations et restitutions des biens juifs en Europe au XXème siècle. Son projet de thèse portera sur le pillage des biens artistiques juifs en France durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale sous la direction de Carl Bouchard et Deborah Barton.

Anaïs Bertrand-Remay is a P.hD student in history at the University of Montréal. She obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history from the University of Paris 8 Vincennes – Saint-Denis. Her research focuses on the robbery and restitution of Jewish property in Europe in the 20th century. Her thesis will focus on the looting of Jewish artistic property in France during the Second World War. She works under the joint supervision of Carl Bouchard and Deborah Barton.
