Jean-François Bélanger is a Ph.D student in Political Science at Mcgill University under the supervision of T.V Paul. He is also a Joseph Armand Bombardier SSHRC recipient. Previously, he completed a Master’s degree in political science at Dalhousie University, and a Honours political science degree at Concordia University. He is the co-editor of two books, Rise of the Rest: Issues and Opportunities, as well as WMDs and the New Security Environment: Implication for Post-9/11 Foreign Policy Making. Some of his work has also appeared in the Canadian Naval Review. His research interests include nuclear proliferation, regional security, democratization and development, civil-military relations, and the international political economy of security. He is currently a board member of the Canadian International Council (CIC).
